Following the publication of the draft legislation on Travel and Subsistence, umbrella companies will be considering what their business model will look like from April 2016.
Direction, supervision and control seems to be the main driver and where the worker is directed by or there is a right to direct supervise or control their work, then tax relief on Travel and Subsistence will not apply going forward.
