HMT’s call for evidence invited views from stakeholders on the role that umbrella companies play in the labour market, and how they interact with the tax and employment rights systems.
When a fully compliant and lawful umbrella company operates in the marketplace, they do so in a way which protects the worker. FCSA therefore recommends that any proposed regulation should focus on the protection of worker employees and the integrity of the supply chain, including compliant umbrella service providers.
