FCSA welcomes New Millennia Umbrella as newest member

New Millennia Umbrella has become the latest member of The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) demonstrating that it fully complies with the trade body’s strict code of conduct.

To become a member an applicant has to undergo a rigorous review of its business services, operations, policies and processes established by the FCSA following extensive liaison with HMRC.

The FCSA Code is designed to demonstrate to Government, as well as freelancers, contractors and recruiters looking for a service provider, that a company is financially stable, provides high quality professional services and operates to the highest standards of transparency and accountability.

New Millennia Umbrella, part of the New Millennia Group Plc has been providing financial and administrative services to the temporary recruitment industry since the turn of the century.

On becoming a member of the FCSA, Paul O’Rourke, Business Development Manager at New Millennia Umbrella said: “We are delighted to be joining the FCSA and to be recognised and endorsed for our high standards and ethical way of working.  The Association echoes our own corporate values and commitment to best practice, honesty and integrity and we are looking forward to supporting the FCSA with its ongoing work to drive up standards across our industry.”

Julia Kermode, Chief Executive of the FCSA added: “In an unregulated industry, our focus is on protecting contractors and freelancers by ensuring they are only working with the most scrupulous and compliant businesses.  New Millennia Umbrella is the latest company to meet our extremely high standards and I am looking forward to working with Paul and his team.”
