The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA), the UK’s largest independent trade association for professional employment services, has formed a partnership with contractor solutions provider Carrington Capital.
The partnership will enable FCSA’s members to benefit from Carrington Capital’s Anytime Wages Service, a brand new service that will allow payroll companies to advance contractor wages before pay day. Pay in arrears can be stressful and problematic for contractors trying to manage their finances. The Anytime Wages Service from Carrington Capital offers a solution for payroll companies with a value-added, simple and straightforward wage-paying system that functions seamlessly with their online platform to pay a portion of money or wages already earned on request. The service speeds up the payment process for wages that the contractor already has a legal right to with no risk for the payroll provider. Carrington Capital’s innovative service enables contractors’ access to pay they have already accumulated with no interest to pay, no fuss or stress, and just a small admin fee to process the early payment and Carrington Capital undertakes all the financial risk.
Founded in 2016, Chief Executive Robert Kelly and his team have worked in contractor recruitment and services for more than 20 years. Commenting on joining forces with FCSA, Robert Kelly said: “We are delighted to be partnering with FCSA and admire all the work the association does to drive up standards in the industry. The world of professional employment services is not straightforward and with legislation a considerable burden to businesses we are keen to work with an organisation like FCSA that promotes compliance and within the legally recognised framework. We look forward to working with members to provide a payroll solution that will help them to provide a better service to the contractors they support. The process for the service is simple. The Anytime Wages Service works in tandem with the Payroll providers online contractor login system using the advance system to calculate wages earned and a portion of pay requested with a decision process that takes mere seconds to authorise. The technologically advanced platform can then process advances that see contractors benefit with wages paid into their bank account within just 60 minutes.”
FCSA represents professional employment services such as umbrella employers and accountancy service providers and was set up in 2008 to set the benchmark for those working in the industry. It works tirelessly to protect contractors and freelancers and drive up standards in a historically unregulated industry.
Julia Kermode, FCSA’s chief executive added: “We are delighted to welcome Carrington Capital on board as a partner and look forward to working with Robert and his team. Carrington Capital is a company that clearly understands the challenges within our sector and pay in arrears can be stressful and problematic for contractors. The Anytime Wages Service will provide our members with a first class payroll solution so that contractors are paid with no fuss or stress.”
