FCSA’s Chief Executive Julia Kermode has been invited to take part in a panel debate on the ongoing impact of the holiday pay ruling for employers and employees at Payroll World’s Client Payroll Autumn Conference on November 12th at The Tower Hotel in London.
The subject of annual leave attracted close media attention following a number of high profile tribunal rulings which created some ambiguity on how to pay annual leave and the issue of overtime and commission. In next week’s session on the 12th, Kermode will discuss the potential impact of the holiday pay ruling on contractors and will be joined by other experts to give some insight and guidance from a legal perspective.
Commenting on her participation Julia Kermode said: “I am delighted to be invited to take part in Payroll World’s Autumn Conference and build up our rapport and links with CIPP. It is an important organisation that is leading the way in raising awareness of the essential role that payroll professionals play in business. Navigating the maze of government legislation is always complex and I am looking forward to a lively debate on how the holiday pay ruling is working for employers and employees and the challenges that businesses are facing.”
