We are delighted to add Key to its growing list of Accredited Members. It brings the number of FCSA Accredited Members to 34. FCSA Accreditation demonstrates to freelancers, contractors and recruitment businesses that members are acting both professionally and ethically within the UK tax, employment and regulatory laws. Coupled with financial stability tests, FCSA accreditation is proof that professional businesses can take the lead in delivering the highest levels of industry standards.
Key was founded in Glasgow over 15 years ago with the aim of supporting contractors in their career. Their umbrella company service, Key Portfolio, allows people to combine the freedom of contracting with the advantages of employment. The service includes reliable payroll, the support of a professional employer and provides a real sense of community spirit on top.
On becoming FCSA Accredited, Director Gary Smith said: “We’re delighted to have secured FCSA Accreditation and to be part of a professional association that is widely acknowledged as the gold standard in our sector. It’s fantastic to give our clients the extra reassurance that comes from our compliance being independently verified by professional auditors. FCSA is well established and recognised for setting benchmarks and improving standards and we look forward to contributing to this good work.”
To become an Accredited Member, applicants must undergo an independent and rigorous assessment of their business services, operations, policies and processes, all of which are examined to ensure adherence to FCSA compliance standards.
FCSA’s chief executive, Julia Kermode added: “I would like to congratulate Key for meeting the extremely high standards required to become a fully Accredited Member of FCSA. It is an achievement to be celebrated. I know that Gary Smith along with Lynsey Melville and the rest of the Key team are extremely committed to driving up standards in our industry and providing a first-class service to the contractors and agencies they work with. I am very pleased to have them on board.”
