The Freelancer and Contractor Services Association (FCSA) has today welcomed MyAccountant on board as a new member having demonstrated that it fully complies with the trade body’s strict code of conduct for accountancy providers.

The FCSA Code is designed to demonstrate to Government, as well as freelancers, contractors and recruiters looking for a service provider, that a company is financially stable, provides high quality professional services and operates to the highest standards of transparency and accountability.  To qualify as a member, an applicant has to undergo a rigorous review of its business services, operations, policies and processes established by the FCSA in liaison with HMRC.

MyAccountant is an accountancy firm which specialises in providing advice and support to contractors and freelancers.

On becoming the latest FCSA member, Robert Fawell, Practice Manager at MyAccountant said: “We are delighted to be joining FCSA and to be endorsed for the high standards and professionalism we have always strived to attain.  Becoming a member of FCSA provides assurance to our clients and associates that they are dealing with a firm that is highly professional and compliant in the work we undertake.  FCSA is leading the way in supporting the flexible workforce and we are keen to play our part in continuing to support the association in its efforts.”

Julia Kermode, Chief Executive of the FCSA added: “In an unregulated industry, our focus is on protecting contractors and freelancers by ensuring they are only working with the most scrupulous and compliant businesses.  MyAccountant is one such company and I am pleased to welcome them on board.”
