FCSA is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Pluck as its new CEO today. Phil takes over from Julia Kermode who has held the post during its growth over the last 6.5 years.
FCSA Chair, Chris James said:
“On behalf of the FCSA, I am delighted to say that Phil Pluck has joined us as the new CEO of FCSA, bringing with him considerable experience in the leadership of professional membership bodies. Most recently, he was the Group CEO of another professional membership body, the Glass and Glazing Federation, and its commercial companies, as well as the Managing Director of the Royal Town Planning Institute. He has successfully led on engagement with Government influencing a number of legislative and policy changes.”
Phil was also a Director of the Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service where he implemented accessible routes to advice and guidance for members of the public and supported several businesses to implement best practices. He went on to advise Government at ministerial level and influence employment legislation.
“We look forward to working with Phil as we continue to strive to raise the standards of compliance within our sector and would like to thank Julia [Kermode] for her dedicated years of service and wish her well in her new endeavours,” added Chris.
