We are delighted to add Optionis to its growing list of Accredited Members. Optionis is a group of market-leading brands comprising First Freelance, SJD Accountancy, Nixon Williams and ClearSky Contractor Accounting, which all specialise in providing tax and accountancy services to the UK’s contingent workforce. In addition, the group also includes the umbrella employer Parasol, which has also passed the FCSA Accreditation. To become an Accredited Member, applicants must undergo an independent and rigorous assessment of their business services, operations, policies and processes, all of which are examined to ensure adherence to FCSA compliance standards.
FCSA Accreditation demonstrates to contractors, freelancers and recruitment businesses that members are acting both professionally and ethically within the UK tax, employment and regulatory laws. Coupled with financial stability tests, FCSA Accreditation is proof that professional businesses can take the lead in delivering the highest levels of industry standards.
Optionis currently supports some 37,000 clients across its brands. On becoming FCSA Accredited Derek Kelly, CEO of Optionis said: “We are delighted to have passed FCSA’s rigorous auditing and be granted accredited status which is recognised throughout the industry as the gold standard for compliance and professionalism. Our staff are committed to delivering the highest levels of service to recruiters, end clients and contractors and I’d like to personally thank them for helping us to achieve FCSA’s standards across our brands. As the largest accountancy and umbrella provider to the UK’s flexible workforce, we look forward to working with FCSA to continue to support and drive our sector forward’.”
FCSA’s chief executive, Julia Kermode added: “FCSA Accreditation is something to be celebrated and I am thrilled that Optionis has successfully met the extremely high standards required to become a fully Accredited Member of the FCSA. I know that Derek and his team care passionately about our sector and I look forward to working with all the companies in the Optionis group to continue our efforts in raising standards and supporting the UK’s flexible workforce.”
